Read below to learn more about Kim and Ashley, the mother-daughter duo behind Team Anchored.

Meet Kim

I live in Kearney, a suburb of Kansas City, with my husband, Eric (aka The Anchorman). We are empty nesters except for our beloved Labrador, KC. I am Mom to two awesome daughters and Nana to four handsome grandsons. I LOVE to make my home pretty, travel to new places, shop, make good food, spend time by the water (especially our lake house), and I know how to throw a darn good party.  I’m also passionate about helping others, so I share lifestyle inspiration about things I love here on our blog, Facebook and Instagram.

My Passion
My day job in corporate America requires a lot of strategic planning and analytical energy. The Anchored Style provides me with a creative outlet to share my projects, tell about wonderful places I have been, and help my followers celebrate the coming seasons and important milestones in their lives.

The Anchor
As you have seen, we chose an anchor for our business name and logo.  The anchor is an icon packed with meaning, because it signals strength and connection.  Our anchors are what matters most to us in this life: faith, family, and friends like you. 

Meet Ashley

The oldest daughter of the original Anchorwoman, Kim
My life revolves around my handsome husband, Matthew, and 3 boys, Colt, Chaz, and Crew. I spend most of my time chasing them and playing chauffer to all their events, but I wouldn't have it any other way.  We also have 2 Goldendoodles, Chief (the full size) & Champ (the mini), who fill our household with so much puppy love.  I have my bachelor's degree in Fashion Design & Fashion Merchandising from Missouri State University.  By day, I work for Hallmark Cards, Inc managing their e-commerce team.  I have an incredible team and absolutely love working with a company whose mission is to ”put more care into the world.”

My Boys
My boys are 5, 9, and 12.  They are energetic and outgoing, love to make noise and get dirty.  We just built a new home on 11 acres where they can run wild and do all the things boys love to do (and NEED to do).  Our world revolves around these boys!

My Passion
I am a creative brain, fashion, and décor enthusiast.  I love crafting and shopping in my free time. I grew up visiting the lake frequently and enjoyed spending summers there.  The lake I often visited is the same lake we own a house on today!
