When we say easy, we mean easy! The wonton crackers look pretty and complicated, but they’re super easy to make and take less than 10 minutes to complete! You’ll absolutely love these fun-shaped wonton crackers for any dip, charcuterie board, or food tray you make for your next gathering! This fun appetizer idea will make you look like a gourmet chef!

We can’t take credit for the original idea, as our dear friend Connie Seuell found it in Food network magazine. We love making charcuterie boards and knew these would be the perfect addition to our displays. We began experimenting with the original wonton cracker and found a few tasty variations we couldn’t wait to share. The original Pesto Tree Crackers are made with pesto spread on them. As an added twist, we created one with parmesan garlic, one with spicy tomato pesto, and one with everything bagel seasoning in it! All of these combinations brought new colors and flavorful options.

Wonton Cracker Flavor ideas

Traditional Basil Pesto (Christmas Trees) - Brush with basil pesto.

Parmesan Garlic Crackers (Snowflakes) - Brush with olive oil, sprinkle with garlic salt and parmesan. This was Kim’s favorite!

Spicy Tomato Pesto Crackers (Bells & Holly Leaves) - Brush with a layer of spicy tomato pesto.

Everything Seasoning (Snowmen) - This was Ashley’s favorite! Brush with olive oil, sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning.

Do you love making charcuterie boards or admire those who make them look like a work of art? When it is Chiefs season, we love using our arrowhead shaped cookie cutters to make the pesto wonton crackers to bring a bit more team spirit to the tailgate party. Charcuterie boards are one of our favorite party foods to make and we love making our spreads look beautiful. One day soon, we will do a feature on them, but until then, start adding these wonton crackers to your board in the appropriate seasonal theme… think hearts at Valentines, snowflakes in the Winter, Christmas trees for Christmas, and more.

We hope you will give this easy appetizer a try and show your friends how creative you are. Tell us which flavor is your favorite if you do. Enjoy!
